Sir John Suckling may (or may not) be the inventor of Cribbage. (But he probably is.) Along our journey to create Wicked Cribbage, Only Then Studios became deeply interested in his history. So we did what normal people do: read everything we could find about him, compiled those readings into a story, and spent 3 years learning to use animation software. We hope you enjoy our totally true production of Sir John Suckling’s mostly untold story!

2024-06-28 13:59:03Summer is in full swing, and so is Only Then Studios in wrapping up the last few steps before production begins. We’ve accepted the electronic proofs from our manufacturer, Sky Games, and a sample has been printed. Once the custom mold is fabricated for the box’s insert, the first copy of the game will make its way to us for final approval. Everything is moving forward and on schedule.
One change worth sharing has to do with the Luggers’ colors. After two months of designing art and ads for the Kickstarter campaign, the Luggers’ banners—red, yellow, and green—began looking a little too stoplight. We’ve swapped these out for unique colors more in line with Wicked Cribbage’s color scheme and are excited to share them with you.
