- Creator remittance information (bank wire details, PayPal email)

- Platform security and fraud monitoring data
- Analytics and operational performance data
2.2 Hive as Data Processor (On Behalf of Creators)
Hive acts as a Data Processor when processing backer personal information on behalf of creators for the purpose of:
- Managing pledges
- Enabling fulfillment
- Providing support ticket functionality
- Facilitating campaign-related communications
In these cases:
- The creator is the Data Controller.
- Hive processes data only according to the creator’s instructions.
- A Data Processing Addendum governs this relationship.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information Collected from Backers
When you back a project, we may collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Shipping address
- Pledge details and reward selections
- Communications with creators or Hive support
- Device and usage information
Hive does not collect or store backers’ full payment card details. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal.
3.2 Information Collected from Creators
When you create and manage a project, we may collect:
- Personal name
- Company name
- Company address
- EIN (U.S.) or VAT ID (EU/other jurisdictions)
- Email address
- PayPal email address
- Bank wire information for remittances
Hive does not collect or store government-issued identity documents or date of birth. Identity verification and KYC procedures are conducted directly by payment processors.

Creators are solely responsible for:
- Compliance with applicable privacy laws
- Providing proper disclosures
- Obtaining user consent where required
Hive is not responsible for the data practices of creators’ third-party tracking tools.

- Provide and operate the platform
- Facilitate pledge management and fulfillment
- Process remittances to creators
