Hi! We're Steve and Dave, we developed Synaptic Symphony's play mechanics to be a "stealth science engine building game". What does that mean? It means the game is built on strong Resource allocation, Kinetic Construction and uses a Co-Op logic system that helps you build the engine that is Jay's Brain!

How to Play

Pull a Life event to start every round - 1 month (12 months overall)

Exchange resources, each player has only 2 actions per round, so efficiency is important!

Level up skills using different combinations of 3 of the 16 total individual resources to build new neuron pathways to strengthen Jay's brain.

The Objective: Bridge the Quadrants

To win, your team must master all skills and connect all four quadrants of Jay's brain before the New Year.

When players engage with the game, they aren’t just moving pieces; they are physically modeling a living nervous system. By managing actions and resource tokens to construct 3D neural pathways, players physically mirror how the brain builds cognitive reserves to withstand stressors. The game models the delicate balance between the sympathetic (fight-or-flight) and parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) nervous systems. As players collaborate to navigate the Life Events Deck, they are practicing real-time cognitive reappraisal and problem-solving. Our Story

From the Kitchen Table to the Design Lab

Living in Northern Colorado, we watched a "digital tide" rising—constant tech draining the human capacity for deep connection. As a French mother, a scientist, and a bit of a rebel at heart, I refused to just sit back and watch big tech dictate how my children's minds would grow. I lost confidence in the digital noise and the algorithms. I wanted to build a fierce "resilience cocoon" for our two sons, but we didn’t want a boring clinical lecture; we wanted a beautifully crafted, rebellious analog tool to fight back.

By partnering with Steve Gordon (Specialist in Science Game Concepts) and brilliant inventor Dave Pitcher, we transformed an obsession with neuroscience into a professional-grade strategy experience.

Synaptic Symphony is the result of that defiance: a kinesthetic ritual designed to reinforce the vital architecture inside our heads to protect our families' well-being. Manufacturing and Shipping

Our Contract manufacturer is ready to go, and we will begin the manufacturing of our injection molds for the components as soon as the Kickstarter is fully funded to gain time on the production.  Production will be completed between 3-6 months. We're committed to shipping the highest quality product possible and we are looking to use the most efficient but reasonable shipping methods possible. Box is 11" x 11" x 2.75" - 2.8 kg (6.17 lbs)
