Shopify Integration & Digital Rewards

We are excited to introduce Shopify Integration in Hive, giving creators a smoother way to connect their crowdfunding operations with their fulfillment workflow.

With the new integration, Hive can connect directly with your Shopify store, allowing you to synchronize products, transfer verified backer orders to Shopify, and bring fulfillment and tracking information back into Hive.

Connect and Synchronize

Once your Shopify store is connected, Hive can match your products using their SKU codes.

Products can be synchronized between the two platforms, while unmatched items can be reviewed and connected manually. This gives creators a clear overview of their products before backer orders are transferred.

Send Backer Orders to Shopify

Verified backer orders can be sent directly from Hive to Shopify, including the relevant products, shipping details, shipping charges, and tax information.

Creators can choose whether orders are transferred manually or automatically, depending on how they want to manage fulfillment. Hive also keeps each transferred order connected to the original backer and helps prevent duplicate Shopify orders.

Built for Crowdfunding Orders

Crowdfunding pledges often include bundles and special campaign pricing that do not work exactly like traditional ecommerce orders.

Hive handles this automatically, distributing the order value across the included products while keeping the total aligned with what the backer actually paid.

Fulfill in Shopify, Track in Hive

Once the order reaches Shopify, you can continue using your normal fulfillment workflow.

When the order is shipped, tracking information can flow back into Hive, including the tracking number, carrier, tracking link, and shipment status.

This keeps your backer information up to date without requiring manual tracking updates.

Physical fulfillment isn't the only thing Hive can help you manage. Creators can also use Hive to deliver digital rewards directly to their backers.

For shared digital content, such as PDFs, digital rulebooks, print-and-play files or other downloads, you can provide a Direct URL or securely host the file through Hive CRM Files. Secure delivery gives you additional control, including how many times a file can be downloaded and when access expires. Once the eligible backer becomes Verified, the digital content becomes available through their pledge.

Hive also supports unique digital content for each backer, such as Steam keys, DLC codes, promotional codes, MyMiniFactory codes or individual download links. Upload your available codes to Hive and the system assigns them to the appropriate Verified backers, while checking that the same unique code isn't distributed twice. If a backer is entitled to multiple copies, they can receive the corresponding number of codes.

From digital rulebooks and print-and-play files to game keys and exclusive downloads, Hive gives creators an easy way to manage digital rewards alongside the rest of their campaign.
