Preproduction Pictures and US tariffs

Hello everyone,

we wanted to give you an overdue update from our side regarding the progress of the game.

Preproduction Copy and start of Mass Production

We have received the preproduction copy and really like it. Attached you find some pictures we took. File proofing came back a few times due to (mostly) coloring/saturation issues which delayed the timeline a bit more. We are sorry for the delay! We are also expecting an update with pictures from the factory and a confirmed timeline a little bit after Chinese New Year. The wooden components are already in production and the other game component and Artbook will follow when the factory opens again. Next we will receive a copy of the final Mass Production to check and after approval they will get assembled.

US Tariffs

We have carefully observed the developing situation with the US tariffs that have been imposed since the start of the Kickstarter. We have done our math carefully and have made the following decisions: Assuming that things stay the way they are right now, we will not charge any of our backers the tariffs. Instead, we will pay them for you. This further diminishes our very narrow margin on the game but this is truly a project we love and we do not want to bother you any further with such unpleasant political topics!

There is a lot going on right now in the board game world as a whole and also in our personal lives. In any case, everything is still moving forward and you will receive the game with all the quality and components that you backed for!

The next update most likely will contain a confirmed timeline (by the factory) and some more photos of the Mass Production.
