Sir John Suckling may (or may not) be the inventor of Cribbage. (But he probably is.) Along our journey to create Wicked Cribbage, Only Then Studios became deeply interested in his history. So we did what normal people do: read everything we could find about him, compiled those readings into a story, and spent 3 years learning to use animation software. We hope you enjoy our totally true production of Sir John Suckling’s mostly untold story!

Nearing The End of Our Journey

Let me begin by saying how wonderful it is to know that there are some 2,000 people out there playing Wicked Cribbage! Nothing makes my day like getting an email with nice words about the game’s arrival, stories of drawing that first Twinkler, or crushing a hand with the help of a Lugger.

For those of you who’d like to do something nice (and free!) to support Only Then Studios, swing by our listing on Board Game Geek and leave some stars. (Here's the link!) Our rating is currently a 9.333, which is amazing, but only a composite of 6 reviews. Those early-on, 10-star reviews make a world of difference in validating our game.



Shipping Update!

UK, EU, and Rest of the World: Fulfillment is 100% complete!

USA: Fulfillment is 100%* complete!

Canada: A freight shipment with 432 Wicked Cribbage games is on its way to Nova Scotia. My apologies that Canadian fulfillment seems to slip by one week with every update, but rest assured your games are on the last leg of their journey. Fulfillment will begin early March.

(*) That asterisk above is because I dropped the last 40 USA orders in the mail yesterday morning. So, for folks who backed in the last few weeks, your games are still making their way to you. Bridge Logistics did an amazing job, but we’ve discovered that the only shipping model that works for an inexpensive and small game such as ours is the USPS Flat Rate.

There are other benefits to fulfilling from home. My favorite is that the packaging is truly minimal, so we’re doing something good for the earth. We’re also able to pass on shipping cost savings to you. Some of you have been asking how to obtain additional copies. We’re going to continue to sell games exclusively through Hive, and so I’ve reposted a Second Wave with modified prices. Shipping costs are down to $3.99 for all US orders, and there’s a $5 discount when buying multiple copies. Here’s that Second Wave link.

We’ll check in one more time when Canadian fulfillment is also at 100%.
