Missed Pledges and Replacements

Hello Dino Lovers,

Bryan here! I just returned from GAMA - a B2B (business to business) board game convention in Kentucky. It's where all us nerds who want to make toys for a living meet to see how we can get more of our games to the masses. Met some good friends and made new ones!

This may be why my replies were a little slow. Anyway, the fulfillment HUB returned last week from the CNY and it took them a little longer to get back in the swing of things. The second wave has gone out, but those who are waiting for their pledge or replacement will receive them at intermittent times since this batch involved many countries/regions. I'm sure there will be a few stranglers but well get it all figured out.

We had to pay a little more for backers to receive their tracking numbers (weird concept if I'm being honest) but they should be hitting your inboxes. Give it some time before reaching out with questions.

A little update on Tangerine Games, I (Bryan) recommend never talking on a panel at a business convention on the same day a new campaign launches. My stress levels were through the ROOF! 

Kaelora launched Tuesday and funded in 12 hours which is dope. Now we are just trying to get off to a great start and avoid the mid-campaign lull that happens oh so very often.

We didn't even run ads after the first week so THANK YOU for making this possible! Our goal is to be able to go either straight to retail or do Pre-orders from our website and bypass Kickstarter. We want you to have your games ASAP. This is why conventions like GAMA are so important so we can do this full time. Keeping games into distribution is vital but difficult. Cash flow is always a huge need.

Anyway, we'd love if you could share the Kaelora project with any friends or on social media. To be honest, while there is a Deluxe option, Kaelora and a bundled tile-laying game called Kindred are better suited for a straight to retail release rather than KS with all the extras and such. Sometimes adding extra stuff just bloats a project and it turns into something you may not really want. But this is the nature of Kickstarter.

Kaelora is off to a good start but we'd love for you to be a part of that project as well! Not a ton of KS exclusives but sometimes less is more... right? For any of you that pledge Kaelora we'll knock 50% off shipping as a thank you for helping and backing Sauros! How's that sound?
