Hunters,

The hunt has well and truly begun.

Fulfilment is ongoing, and we expect it to be concluded within the next couple of weeks. We know there is a lot of excitement out there, and we completely understand that many of you are eager to get Kryptothera onto your tables, open the box, gather your crew, and begin hunting things that probably should have been left alone.

We are right there with you.

Thank you for your patience while the final waves of pledges continue to move through the fulfilment system. Everyone will receive their game. The cryptids are moving. Some are simply taking the scenic route through the mist.

We are also very pleased that fulfilment started one week earlier than we originally promised during the Kickstarter campaign last year. Getting a project of this size into people’s hands is no small undertaking, and seeing boxes now arriving with backers is a huge moment for us.

Overall, fulfilment has been running very smoothly, and the vast majority of pledges have arrived exactly as intended. As with any large fulfilment operation, a very small number of backers had minor packing issues, including a few incorrect expansions being sent. We have already taken this up directly with the affected backers and resolved it.

A quick note as well for backers who received The Cultural Exchange mini-expansion: two cards in that small expansion were printed with an incorrect margin. This does not affect the main game, and the expansion remains playable. The manufacturer is already reprinting the corrected cards, and we will share the next steps once they are ready. In the meantime, those two cards can be used by carefully trimming the black margin.

Also, for anyone looking for their exclusive die, it has been packed inside the main Kryptothera box rather than sent separately. A tiny relic, safely hidden in the vault.

Now that Kryptothera is reaching tables, rules questions are naturally starting to emerge from the fog.

We have started an FAQ section on our website and will continue adding clarifications as questions come in. This gives everyone one clear place to find answers, check rulings, and keep the hunt moving without unnecessary confusion.

UK Games Expo

We have also just returned from an incredible UK Games Expo.

Kryptothera had a fantastic show. We spent the weekend demoing the game, meeting backers, introducing new players to the world, and watching people go from “So how does this work?” to “I am absolutely stealing that cryptid from you” in record time.

The feedback was amazing. Players loved the world, the table presence, the accessibility of the rules, and the tension that builds as the hunt unfolds. We also had strong interest from retailers and distributors, which is incredibly encouraging as we look at the next stage of Kryptothera’s journey beyond the Kickstarter campaign.

And, of course, Kryptothera was selected as a UK Games Expo 2026 Best Game Finalist, which made the weekend feel even more special.

To everyone who came to the stand, played a demo, bought a copy, brought friends over, asked questions, or simply stopped to say something kind, thank you. Seeing the game come alive in people’s hands is exactly why we created it.

A Hunter’s Tale Launches on 11 June

And now, another door is about to open.

Kryptothera: A Hunter’s Tale, our comic book set in the world of Kryptothera, launches on Kickstarter on Thursday 11 June.

This is not only a story from the world of Kryptothera. The campaign will also include exclusive playable cards that can be used in the game:

• The Eternal Bestiary Item Card
• Enfield Horror Legendary Cryptid Card
