VAT: 
In order to maintain compliance with EU & UK law, VAT fees will be charged after the project, within the Hive Pledge Manager. The amount collected will be based on the total value of the pledge and shipping cost according to the VAT rates of each country.

US Tariffs: 
Currently, tariffs on goods imported into the US from China are 30%. Tangerine Games reserves the right to pass the tariff onto the backer in the Pledge Manager if necessary. (30% tariff = an additional ~$3.)

Shipping: 
Fees for each reward listed in the table above are estimates based on current rates and shipping a single game. Additional items will add to this cost. Shipping will be collected within the Pledge Manager after the conclusion of the campaign. Backers will provide their shipping address at this time as well. NOTE: Shipping costs and addresses will not be collected on Kickstarter.

RETAILERS 
We love retailers and would love to see Kaelora and Kindred on hobby store shelves around the world. If you run a store, please select the "Retailer" tier to pledge a $100 deposit toward a case of Kaelora and/or Kindred. When the Hive Pledge Manager opens about a month or so after the conclusion of the campaign, you'll be able to verify your brick and mortar store, pay your balance, and provide your shipping address.

LOCALIZATION 
We are always looking for ways to bring our games to other markets and languages. If you are an international publisher and have interest in localizing Kaelora or Kindred, we have partnered with Next Tabletop for all our localization needs. Please send an email to david@next-tabletop.com.

Project Update!

Hello Explorers!

Just wanted to give a quick update on the project since the campaign wrapped up about three weeks ago.

So far, approximately 70% of backers have completed the Pledge Manager. This is awesome and quite impressive! If you have not received an invite from Hive Interactive (this is our PM platform), please reach out to Bryan@tangerine.games or send us a DM. Make sure you check your Spam folder as well.

Reminder: If you pledged via Apple Pay, the only email we have for you is an "appleid.com" extension which does not play nicely with Hive. You will need to complete this form to provide a valid email so we can send the invite. There are still 12 backers who need to do this.

Don't forget, the Pledge Manager closes May 18. It will be here before you know it!! Let's get to 100% ASAP:)

Update on Production

Files for both Kaelora and Kindred have been submitted. This is a big milestone as it's often the part that creates a bottleneck in the manufacturing process. We also had to work out some kinks in the gameplay that were a little clunky/unclear and correct some graphic design/colors that were causing some play testers issues. We want to provide the best game possible!

The next steps are as follows:

  • Factory creates e-proofs and we approve
  • Factory takes 7-10 days to create pre-production copies
  • They send production copies for us to look over and either ask for adjustments or approve for Mass production
  • Mass production takes about 4-6 weeks
  • Mass Production copies are sent to us and we approve
  • Assembly tasks about 2-3 days and then games are prepped on pallets and readied for pick up.
