Welcome to Medieval Iberia where you will play as either a Christian king or a Muslim emir vying to build the greatest kingdom on the peninsula.

A player's turn takes place over four simple steps:

Step 1:  Review your politics, then collect your income.

Step 2:  Use your income to purchase projects/abilities, buy mercenaries, and play courtiers, adding them to your court.

Step 3:  Move your armies to fortify or conquer new regions.

Step 4:  Engage in battle.  Win if you have more soldiers than the defense.  Then subdue the population and raise your income if you have soldiers equal to the region's demographics.

Play continues until a player reaches the required number of flags or a player acquires two wonders.

Samples, Rulebooks, and More!

Update: We have approved all our files with the manufacturer, and our final sample is being made. Our fingers are crossed it will be finished before Chinese New Year.


Once we have this sample, we can review the physical cards, buildings, play mats, metal coins, etc. before we create your copies.


New Steps: Now that the rule book is complete, we have submitted it to a copy editor. We have received his first draft and we are beyond pleased. While the rule book was good before, he is helping make it a really great document.  


Apple IDs: The good news about Apple IDs is they really do protect your email address. The bad part is if you used an Apple ID to create your Kickstarter account, the email we have on file is a bit random. This means when we send you information regarding your pledge manager (opening soon) you will not receive those emails. If you know this pertains to you, please email me (sarah@csquaredgames.com), with your preferred email address and I can update it for you.


Photos: After lots of player feedback, we decided to add two queens and two emirs to the ruler card deck. Since these are the newest portraits, I wanted to share them with you.
