A player's turn takes place over four simple steps:

Step 1: Review your politics, then collect your income.

Step 2: Use your income to purchase projects/abilities, buy mercenaries, and play courtiers, adding them to your court.

Step 3: Move your armies to fortify or conquer new regions.

Step 4: Engage in battle. Win if you have more soldiers than the defense. Then subdue the population and raise your income if you have soldiers equal to the region's demographics.

Play continues until a player reaches the required number of flags or a player acquires two wonders.

Happy New Year!!!! We hope this next year is full of life's blessings for you, like receiving this awesome game you supported.

Update: I am happy to report that all our files are finalized, and we are in the process of submitting and reviewing them with the manufacturer.

We have also updated all the ruler cards, and we are really happy with their overall look and functionality. The biggest changes include adding all the icons to the front as well as adding a score tracker to the back. Thanks to a backer and fellow designer for this idea, there is now a way to count points without interfering with the board design or adding a score pad.

New Steps: Over the next few weeks, the manufacturer will review all our files and organize them for printing. We will then order another sample so we can verify everything is in order and works the way it should.

Due to the Lunar Holiday in February, manufacturing will most likely start the first week of March.

Photos: As promised in our last update here are some of the latest photos including the map, kingdom board, and an example of a ruler card.

We are excited about all these files and in our next update we will be featuring the new art for our rulers. Gotta save something fun for the next update!
