Hi festival-goers,

Let’s get straight to the updates this week.

Pledge manager closing on March 28, 2025

Remember that we are going to close the Pledge Manager on March 28th. This step is mandatory if you want to receive your copy of Fest Season. If you hadn’t completed the survey yet, please do it as soon as possible. I recommend even double-checking that you have selected the correct language and your add-ons.

Sample in progress

Asa, the illustrator, is still working on the Alternative Terrains and finishing the details on the constructions, but we already have sent the files to Longpack, our manufacturer, to do one last round of sampling before start the mass production. This will help us to check the latest changes in materials, sizes, colors, etc. We are confident that we will not need any major changes after getting the samples, but it is something that is needed.

There are a lot of cool components in the game, but this week I wanted to tease the storage boxes. Even though they are not part of the game, it is a cool thematic component that helps set the mood during the setup of the game. These were designed by Gonzalo, the graphic designer, and I think they are even cooler than the version we sampled before.

Help us proofread the rulebook

I updated the rulebook with the latest changes to the rules. The rules didn’t change in a big way, but what I did is make the design consistent throughout the book and try to make the image examples more clear. Although I already had help checking the texts in Spanish and English, sometimes when updating the texts on the design files, errors happen, so feel free to download the latest version and send any mistakes you find to info@greenastragames.com .

Please note that some images are not final (terrains and constructions), some tiles might even be missing the art, but that will be updated in a couple of weeks once Asa is done with the art.

Additionally, when I completed the rulebook, I noticed that I had almost one page free at the end. Instead of repeating the quick reference, because we already have 5 player aids, I thought that it was better to have an image showing how to store the game. This will be helpful, specially the first day when you still don’t know exactly what is each component for.

I hope you like the idea. Do you like when games show you how to store the components in the box, or do you think it is unneeded?

Asa, el ilustrador, aún está trabajando en los terrenos alternativos y terminando detalles en las construcciones, pero ya hemos enviado los archivos a nuestro fabricante, Longpack, para realizar una última ronda de pruebas antes de comenzar con la producción masiva. Esto nos ayudará a revisar los últimos cambios en materiales, tamaños, colores, etc. Estamos confiados en que no necesitaremos grandes cambios después de recibir las muestras, pero aún así es un paso necesario.

Tenemos muchos componentes atractivos en el juego, pero esta semana quiero mostrarles las cajas de almacenamiento. Aunque estas no son parte del juego, es un componente temático que ayuda a meterse en el juego desde la preparación. Estos fueron diseñados por Gonzalo, el diseñador gráfico, y quedaron aún más geniales que la versión que habíamos hecho anteriormente.

Ayúdanos a revisar el reglamento

He actualizado el reglamento con los últimos cambios en las reglas. Las reglas no cambiaron en gran medida, pero lo que hice fue hacer más consistente el reglamento y tratar de que las imágenes en los ejemplos fueran mas claras. Aunque obtuve ayuda revisando los textos en español y en inglés, a veces cuando se actualizan los archivos de diseño, se cometen errores, así que te invito a que descargues la última versión y envíes cualquier error que detectes a info@greenastragames.com .

Favor de notar que algunas imágenes no son finales (terrenos y construcciones), y hasta algunas losetas de terreno no muestran arte, pero esto se actualizará en las siguientes semanas una vez que Asa termine con el arte.

Adicionalmente, cuando terminé el reglamento, noté que tenía casi una página libre al final. En lugar de repetir la guía rápida que ya está en las 5 hojas de ayuda, pensé que sería mejor idea mostrar una imagen de cómo guardar los componentes del juego. Esto va a ser útil, especialmente el primer día cuando aún no estés familiarizado con los componentes.

Espero que te agrade la idea. ¿Te gusta cuando los juegos muestran cómo guardar los componentes en la caja, o piensas que es innecesario?
