Why back on Kickstarter?

Play it First / Retail Uncertainty: Backers will be the first in the world to receive a copy of Fú: Festive Fortunes (with Kickstarter Exclusive stretch goals). And as a small independent publisher, we cannot guarantee that Fú will be available in retail. Backing now on Kickstarter is the best way to ensure you get the game. 

Support Independent Game Development: While Singapore has an enthusiastic and growing base of board gamers, we wanted to use Kickstarter to reach a global audience. Self-publishing also gives us full control over every detail of the game – from culturally authentic rules to the cutest illustrations by a talented local artist.

Discounted Price: We are offering big discounts off expected MSRP. This is our way of thanking you for helping us get Fú: Festive Fortunes off the ground. We have also absorbed some of the impact of recently-announced tariffs, but these tariffs could significantly increase retail MSRPs in the future.

Shipping & tariffs

Shipping costs: The costs listed above are estimates only, based on shipping a single game. Additional games or add-ons may add to this cost. Post-campaign, we will ask backers to confirm their address in the pledge manager, and shipping costs will then be collected according to your specific location. 

Customs-friendly shipping: We will ship from local hubs to backers in the US, Canada, UK, EU, Asia and Australia.  

Sales taxes / VAT: If applicable, these will be collected separately post-campaign in the pledge manager, according to your specific location. 

US Tariffs (for US backers only): We will absorb half the actual tariff costs incurred at the time of fulfilment, and charge the remainder together with shipping in the pledge manager. Assuming a 30% tariff (at the time of this writing), this would add less than 1 USD to the cost of your pledge. If things get worse, we have also identified alternative manufacturers in Singapore (where we are based). Either way, tariffs will not impact our ability to fulfil your pledges. We will keep you fully updated as the situation evolves.

Our story

New to Kickstarter?

How it works: 

1.  Choose your reward tier: Click the green "Back This Project" button at the top of the page. Select your desired reward tier and click the green pledge button below the reward. If the campaign reaches its funding goal, Kickstarter will collect your payment. 

2.  Pledge manager: Shortly after the Kickstarter campaign ends, we will give access to the pledge manager. Here you may modify your order, add extras, and provide your shipping address. Based on your address, we will also collect applicable taxes and shipping fees via the pledge manager. 

3. Production updates: We will keep you updated via emails on our progress in manufacturing, shipping and delivery. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we plan to send these updates monthly. 

4. Delivery: We will be working with local fulfilment hubs to deliver all Kickstarter pledges. Do note that depending on location, backers across the world may receive their games at different times.
