    • All shipping rates above are in US dollars, are estimates and subject to change. 
    • We worked with our fulfillment partners to obtain real world estimates, however as with any external factor such as shipping, sometimes there are items that are out of our immediate control. We will work hard to obtain the best rates for our backers when fulfillment occurs (estimated Oct. 2025).  

Grod Games Gives Back

A Tribute to Our Friend and Fellow Gamer: 

On January 18 of 2024, the same day our team finished preparing our ‘Version 1’ of a print-ready prototype, our friend and fellow gamer Brandon passed away due to complications associated with Marfan syndrome. Brandon was an inspiration for us. He was one of our first play testers, and in a profound way, opened up the hobby of board games with us when we had but a handful of games in our collection.

We would not have worked on this project if not for Brandon’s impact (and often stubborn opinion) about board games. To honor his memory, 5% of profits of the sale of this game will be donated to research on the condition of Marfan syndrome. At the time of writing, we don’t yet know what our costs or proceeds will be, so we will begin an annual update about the donation in our newsletter at year-end 2025. Partnership with Boardgames for the Better 

We first met Board Games for the Better this spring at Long Island Tabletop Convention and are excited to partner with them to allow backers to donate games for their cause.  Board Games for the Better is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that gifts board games and board game experiences to underserved communities to improve mental health, relieve stress, and provide opportunities for social engagement. 

Grod Games is partnering with this organization to offer an "add-on" reward for backers to donate a base copy of the game to communities in need.

Here's how it works.

1. Pick Your Reward: Click the Big green "Back This Project" button at the top of the page. Select your desired reward tier and click the green pledge button below the reward you would like to make a pledge..
2. Pledge Collection: If the campaign reaches its funding goal, Kickstarter will collect your payment for your pledge
3. Pledge Manager: Shortly after the Kickstarter campaign ends, we will give access to the pledge manager. Here you may modify your order, add extras of your choice, and provide your shipping address. In the pledge manager we will be collecting applicable taxes and payment for shipping. 
4. Production Updates: During manufacturing, shipping, and fulfillment, we will send you email updates with the latest progress on Estate: Raise the Realm.

January 2026 Project Update - Update on Fulfillment Status

Hi everyone,


Happy New Year! We wanted to share a quick mid-January update on fulfillment timelines and where things stand across each region.


First and foremost, thank you so much for your patience as we work through this process for the first time. We’re learning a lot along the way and truly appreciate your understanding as everything comes together.


Fulfillment Updates

Below you will find updates on fulfillment across all regions: 


Backers in AT, BE, CZ, DK, FR, DE, IT, PL, SE, GB: 

Your games have left our warehouse in China early December and are expected to enter the UK/EU toward the end of January. Once they clear customs, your tracking numbers (available via the HIVE pledge manager) should update with an estimated delivery date.

  • Based on the recent update from the fulfillment center, you should expect your games to arrive in February.
  • We apologize for any confusion around timing here. As first-time publishers handling international fulfillment, we underestimated how long this leg of the process would take, but things are moving, and we’ll continue to keep you updated.

Backers in the US 

We received an update from our fulfillment center this morning, and we’re happy to share that all U.S. orders are expected to ship by the end of this week.

  • About half of U.S. orders have already shipped 🎉 
  • Tracking numbers for those orders have been uploaded to Hive (and I'll upload the remaining tracking numbers once I receive them)
  • You’ll also receive an email directly from Bridge with your tracking link once your order is fully processed


Backers in Canada 

As previously shared, we’re partnering with Board Game Bliss to handle last-mile fulfillment in Canada. Here’s how that process looks:

  • Canadian games will arrive at Board Game Bliss’s U.S. freight forwarding location alongside the remaining U.S. shipments 
  • From there, they’ll clear customs, be received at Board Game Bliss’s warehouse, and then shipped to backers
  • You can expect Canadian tracking information toward the end of this month or early next month.


Backers across the Rest of the World: 


I have confirmation that the following countries have completed fulfillment: AU, CH, CN, IL, MX, NO, NZ, TW. If for some reason you have not received your package, please open a support ticket on Hive: https://www.hiveinteractive.net/customersupport
