Shipping and fulfilment developments, Gaming Rules! Scenario 3 playthrough tomorrow

Thank you all for reading this update, as well as the nice comments and messages I am getting. I really appreciate them. I had a great 2-days at the board game convention. My honeymoon in Berlin is now almost finished, and then it is back to full time work again.

Today I have some good and bad news that I want to share regarding shipping and fulfilment. And I want to let you all know that the Gaming Rules! Youtube channel will do a live playthrough of the game tomorrow.

Europe: I was a bit too optimistic about European shipping. Since it got delivered on Monday, I thought they will start shipping either the next day or soon after. But they told me they will start early next week. So, everyone in Europe that did not have the expansion and/or the in the Laserox insert in their pledge should receive their pledge soon. You can still let me know if you want to switch to 2 wave shipping, which is 10 euro for backers in the Netherlands and Belgium and 17 euro for all other European countries.

Below are two photos of the delivery of the pallets.

USA: about two hours ago I got the confirmation that tomorrow morning the US pallets will be delivered. All other mandatory checks are also done. Bridge, who is arranging US fulfilment, said they are ready to begin shipping once the pallets have arrived.

This means that everyone in the USA that did not have the expansion and/or the in the Laserox insert in their pledge should receive their pledge soon. You can still let me know if you want to switch to 2 wave shipping for 17 euro.

So far the good news. Now the other 4 hubs.

UK: I head from the freight forwarder that delivery to the UK is planned on the 27th of August. I had hoped it would arrive a bit earlier. You can click here to see the track and trace of the boat with the UK pallets.

Canada and Australia/New Zealand: after some higher transport prices from the company that arranged the other shipments, I went with the Hive freight consolidation options. This saved hundreds of euros which I am happy about, but its delivery is much slower than I hoped when I asked about the options. They were planning to pick the games up early July, but there had been some unfortunate delays.

For the Canada shipment, I got a message that they now expect the ship to arrive on the 20th of September. For Australia and New Zealand, they told me yesterday that the ship will leave next week and expected to arrive on the 8th of September.

So all in all it is not really what I hoped for these hubs when I decided to go with this shipment. The fact that the factory supplied the needed information to start everything for these hubs a bit late also did not help.

Asia: I am waiting on more details right now for this shipment.

Tomorrow there will be a live playthrough of Scenario 3 from the Gaming Rules! Youtube channel. I had sent him one of the two English copies that I received by airmail to check before they all went on the boat. So, the copy he uses is exactly the same as all the other second print run copies that you will receive.
