Creator's Terms & Conditions
By confirming your order in Hive Interactive, you agree to the following terms:
1) Payment & Order Completion
Your order is finalized once payment is confirmed through Hive Interactive (PayPal or credit/debit). After payment, it enters our fulfillment queue for the Space-Off campaign.
2) Refund Policy
*Before Shipping*
You may request a refund for any reason within 14 days of completing payment in Hive Interactive, provided shipping has not begun.
Refunds in this window exclude non-recoverable payment-processing fees (usually 2–4 %).
After 14 days, refunds may still be approved at Rule 1 Games LLC’s discretion.
*After Delivery*
If your product arrives damaged or defective, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost once the defective product or damage is verified.
If you wish to return an undamaged, unopened item for personal reasons, contact support@spaceoffgame.com for written return instructions within 30 days of delivery. Any item returned without prior authorization may be refused and will not receive a refund.
Approved voluntary returns must be shipped at the customer’s expense and will incur a restocking fee equal to the handling charge of the regional hub (typically 10–15 %).
Return requests made after 30 days are handled only at Rule 1 Games, LLC’s discretion.
3) Taxes & Tariffs
- Rule 1 Games LLC is based in Illinois, USA. State-level sales tax is collected for Illinois and other U.S. states where required by law.
- Backers in the UK and EU will have VAT automatically applied in Hive Interactive.
- U.S. and Canadian backers will be charged applicable import tariffs on goods manufactured in China, since Canadian shipments transit through the U.S.-based fulfillment hub. Rule 1 Games will cover a portion of these tariffs to help reduce costs, but the backer contributing rate shown in Hive Interactive includes this shared contribution.
- Backers in other regions are responsible for any import duties, VAT/GST, or local taxes assessed by their customs agency.
4) Shipping & Fulfillment
Orders are fulfilled from regional hubs in cooperation with Hive Interactive:
United States & Canada — MOCO Distribution
United Kingdom / EU / Rest of World (in approved countries) — GamesQuest
Australia / New Zealand — Aetherworks
Shipping and handling are based on actual carrier costs from the nearest hub. Once your package has been handed to the carrier, transit speed, customs clearance, and delivery scheduling are outside our direct control, though our fulfillment partners will assist if issues arise.
5) Address Accuracy & Communication
You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address and for monitoring campaign updates and emails (from Rule 1 Games/Space-Off and Hive Interactive). If a package is returned to one of our fulfillment hubs due to an incorrect address or failure to claim, reshipping fees may apply.
6) Product Design & Changes
Final components, artwork, and packaging may vary slightly from campaign images due to manufacturing or supply-chain adjustments. All revisions are made to maintain or improve quality.
7) Delivery Regions
We ship worldwide as explained on our Kickstarter and Hive Interactive pages.
However, due to logistics and customs restrictions, we cannot guarantee delivery to certain regions. Specifically, we are unable to fulfill orders to backers located in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, North Korea, Mexico, Cuba, Central America, and South America.
Backers in any of the above restricted or high-risk regions should contact us before finalizing payment to discuss delivery options or risk level. If shipping cannot be arranged, we can offer a full refund. Once delivery information is confirmed and paid, the standard returns policy applies. If a shipment to a region which we have listed above as “unable to fulfill to” is deemed undeliverable or lost in transit, we cannot provide a replacement or refund due to high risk and limited tracking options.
The sale of Rule 1 Games, LLC's goods in the UK and/or EU is made on its behalf by GamesQuest Ltd.
8) Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, with exclusive jurisdiction in Cook County.

Completed
