A lifelong football fan and product manager by trade, he spent two years and five full redesigns turning a spreadsheet of matchups into FIRST DOWN, a tactical football board game built for people who love the sport. He runs Don Bean Games as a solo studio, handling everything from design to logistics, with the goal of bringing football to the table the way it deserves. FIRST DOWN is a tactical football board game for 2 to 6 players, best in a head to head. Set your strengths, call your play in secret, reveal at the same time, and the better read wins the down. The dice add the drama, your call decides the outcome. Two years in the making, built for fans who want the sport taken seriously, without a thick rulebook or endless charts.
