How to Use

Hive's Task Manager is designed to be simple but powerful. Use filters to quickly sort tasks by project, assignee, status, or priority — making it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for.


To create a new task, click Add New. You’ll be able to:

  1. Give the task a title and description, so everyone knows what it’s about.
  2. Set its status (To Do, In Progress, Completed) and priority (Low, Medium, High).
  3. Assign it to a specific team member so responsibilities are clear.
  4. Link it directly to a project or a backer for context.
  5. Add start and due dates to keep everything on schedule.
  6. Estimate duration or add notes for extra details.

Once tasks are created, the dashboard updates in real time. Team members can track progress, update statuses, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.


The system will also send out email notifications whenever a new task is assigned to you, and reminders for tasks that are overdue!
