In Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay, players took control of a band of heroes from The Wanderer's Guild to liberate Barnacle Bay from the evil cult leader Elder Bane and his Cult of the Deep who had taken over the once peaceful fishing village. Unbeknownst to everyone, Elder Bane was meddling with magic far beyond his understanding and inadvertently resurrected the ghost pirate chicken lord LaCluck.

Now, LaCluck and her mutinous crew of ghost pirate monkey grunts, ghastly pig gunners, wailing albatross banshees, and rhino cannoneers have set sail to seek revenge on the poor town of Barnacle Bay in Wander: LaCluck's Revenge!

Wander: LaCluck's Revenge is the long awaited sequel to Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay that can be played on its own or combined with the first game to create even more action packed campaigns.

Throughout the campaign, players will navigate branching scenarios in a choose your own adventure campaign book that each provide their own challenges. It's up to our Wanderers to explore these scenarios by choosing a set of unique abilities tailored to their own strengths. They acquire these abilities by defeating enemies during a scenario. As you find new treasure and gain experience to level up, you will unlock unique hero abilities granting you the upper hand in combat. Don't get too carried away! If you do, you are liable to summon more of LaCluck's crew who will try and stop you by any means.

Mix and match your Wander heroes, enemy spawn cards, treasure cards, and event cards across both campaigns!

Add your LaCluck's Revenge enemy spawn cards to Barnacle Bay, or your add your Barnacle Bay spawn cards to LaCluck's Revenge to fight off against a wider variety of enemies with different stats and abilities!

Hero Sculpts 

Beware the new Ghost enemies! Fighting off the undead takes Courage. These new enemies are all Spooky, so take care Wanderers. Whenever you are hit by Spooky enemies, you will lose Courage. Successfully wounding ghosts will gain you Courage. Run out of Courage and you will suffer Spooked and be forced to run away in terror and fall back in comt.

Being spooked by ghosts will force your hero to fall to the bottom of the initiative which will change the initiative bonuses for heroes and enemies alike!

Sometimes this may even work out in your advantage!

Enemy Sculpts

Wander: LaCluck's Revenge will feature all new scenarios, tiles, heroes, equipment, enemies as well as new core mechanics to the game that make LaCluck's Revenge a brand new experience for all Wander players. 

Heroes and enemies have access to explosive cannons! Cannons can be used to perform area of effect attacks that hit all models in one space with one attack roll. Cannons may also be used to blow up objective walls opening up new passages for the heroes. Be careful though, because cannons will also set target spaces on fire! 

These cannons can be also be used to travel over long distances by firing yourself out of the cannon! If you fail the knowledge check however, you will shoot yourself all the way across the board until you hit a wall and catch your own space on fire.

Cannons and other things throughout the game can cause spaces on the board to be set on fire. Fire wounds all heroes in the space. If the Wanderers don't put out fire, fire will spread to all adjacent spaces at the end of each initiative round. Be sure to take care of it quickly or you will be set ablaze!

The phantasmagoria of LaCluck's fleet of ships is turning surrounding sea into toxic dark water. Don't let your Wanderers get pushed overboard or they will suffer poison.

While the ghosts are immune to the effects of fire and water, the Wanderers have found ways to poison the enemies with unique weapons and abilities. 

The Wanderers can use small rafts to travel with their allies quickly and safely over water spaces.  

Barnacle Bay was once a peaceful fishing village, until the evil cult leader Elder Bane took over the town. He used his dark magic and cursed trinkets hidden beneath the town to turn the inhabitants into twisted monstrosities such as crab-armed otter fisherman, tentacle bunny zealots, fish-bat casters, and worst of all, berserking bearsharks! It is up to the heroes of The Wanderers Guild to save the town from Elder Bane and his Cult of The Deep in Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay.

Return to Barnacle Bay! This Kickstarter will also be reprinting the highly acclaimed first title Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay. Play as Roland the red panda warrior, Tank the turtle guardian, Kira the squirrel thief, Fynn the wolf ranger, and Ibexus the goat wizard as you fight off against Elder Bane and his Cult of The Deep to save the small town of Barnacle Bay.

 Retailer Pledges

If you are a game store retailer, you may choose to select the retailer level pledges. All retailers must fill out the form linked above so that we may confirm your retail status and we can be sure you are able to choose retailer options after the campaign. Retailers may choose to buy additional cases either core game during the pledge management phase.

Optional add-on content can be selected to be added to your pledge. You may also simply just add the dollar amount to your total pledge. You can select your add-ons during the pledge manager through Backerkit that will be sent out after the Kickstarter.

The additional expansion content from Wander: The Cult Of Barnacle Bay have returned. All expansions are playable in both Barnacle Bay and LaCluck's Revenge!

While converting townspeople into horrendous monstrosities within Barnacle Bay, Elder Bane did not forget about its back alleys and seedy gangs! Now heroes from the Wanderers Guild will have to contend with bloat rat Boomers that cause poison to nearby heroes when defeated, as well as the hulking hired muscle of the Gar faced Guarmadillos who block line of sight and taunt near by heroes to attack them.

But not all of Elder Banes acolytes remain under his control! The otter grunt Bart and bear-shark Chompy rebel against him, and fight alongside the Wanderers to restore their beloved city to its former glory!

Shovel Knight, King Knight, Specter Knight, and Plague Knight have entered the world of Wander! This pack will come with 4 new hero miniatures and cards.

These hero miniatures will be alternate sculpts than the miniatures in Shovel Knight: Dungeon Duels.

If you wish to only purchase these Heroes, you can pledge for $35 and you will be able to pick the pack during the pledge manager.

The guild is all here! This pack will come with 9 playable Wander heroes with their miniatures, hero cards, starting item cards, and initiative cards. Only via Kickstarter will all these heroes be available in one bundled discount set. 

New limited run dice set! 12 translucent green LaCluck Dice. The Crit symbol has been replaced with the Wanderers Guild crest. 

Replace your cannon & raft tiles with 3D miniatures!

Already own Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay and want all the updated cards, rulebooks and 3D Dashboards? With this pack we will replace all of your old cards and books from your existing copy Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay. 

If you are getting Barnacle Bay from this Kickstarter, you will not need this add-on. The second print run of the game will have all the updated contents.

New Optional Add-Ons may be unlocked with more funding of the campaign!

We at Panda Cult Games are an indie design and game publishing team made up of just a couple of talented, passionate, and dedicated gamers. We are known for our big box miniature board games such as Wander, Ghostbusters x Men In Black: Ecto-terrestrial Invasion, and Shovel Knight: Dungeon Duels. While we are known for making big high quality games, we still truly need Kickstarter to make these games possible. 

You, the community, have made this possible!

We have conquered many major hurdles the past two years due to the pandemic. We made a strong comeback with getting back to conventions and selling out of all of our games! Now all we need to do is bring those game back. The success of this Kickstarter will allow us to bring our favorite first game back into reality as well as create it's sequel.
