RETAILERS

We love retailers and would love to see Sauros on hobby store shelves around the world. If you run a store, please select the "Retailer" tier to pledge a $100 deposit toward a Sauros case. When the Hive Pledge Manager opens about a month or so after the conclusion of the campaign, you'll be able to verify your brick and mortar store, pay your balance, and provide your shipping address.

LOCALIZATION

We are always looking for ways to bring our games to other markets and languages. If you are an international publisher and have interest in localizing Sauros, please send an email to bryan@tangerine.games. Sauros is fairly language independent with just the rulebook, score cards, and box needing translation. We are already in discussions with a few possible European partners. Would love to team up with even more!

VAT: 

In order to maintain compliance with EU & UK law, VAT fees will be charged after the project, within the Hive Pledge Manager. The amount collected will be based on the total value of the pledge and shipping cost according to the VAT rates of each country.

US Tariffs: 

Currently, tariffs on goods imported into the US from China are 30%. While there is a 90-day pause on the original tariff of 145%, there is no guarantee what the tariff rate will be by the time fulfillment begins. Regardless, Tangerine Games reserves the right to pass the tariff onto the backer in the Pledge Manager if necessary. (30% tariff = an additional ~$2.)

Shipping: 

Fees for each reward listed in the table above are estimates based on current rates and shipping a single game. Additional items may add to this cost. Shipping will be collected within the Pledge Manager after the conclusion of the campaign. Backers will provide their shipping address at this time as well.

Sauros is Out the Door... for the most part:)

Sauros is on the move... basically:)

Okay, so there was a little delay in prepping the games to depart. Our factory claims the lab failed to test the dice bag although testing was ordered 2-3 months ago. Not sure how this oversight occurred, but it's becoming "par for the course" with manufacturing. What can ya do, right?

Well, all is good now. Our fulfillment partner that is handling US, Asia, AU/NZ, and ROW is picking up product tomorrow (Friday Dec. 12)! For EU/UK and CA, we are still waiting on our consolidation partner to schedule pick up. We anticipate it will happen at the end of this month (December). This is unfortunate as it would have left the first Friday in December (last week), but the factory dropped the ball. This is why we always try to leave a buffer.

For context, we consolidate freight often to save money because shipping containers are so expensive. This freight is factored into the MSRP (sell price) of a product. What good is it to make a game if we can't get it from the factory to the customer, right? Sometimes, this method takes longer but it's best for all involved financially.

Anyway, Asia will fulfill first just due to proximity. US, AU/NZ, ROW will travel by boat first before heading to their final destination for last-mile-shipping to your doorstep. 

It seems we are ahead of schedule. I believe the campaign stated fulfillment would begin in February 2026, when in fact it's starting now (technically). We would love for you to play, rate, take pictures and talk Sauros up after receiving it. This really helps get eyes on the game so we can continue printing.

Next Project

I know we've mentioned it plenty of times before but our new game Kaelora launches beginning of March 2026. Next year is gonna be a big year for Tangerine Games. We are trying to be in many different stores and retail and we are getting closer and closer to having the cash flow to do so. Making board games is not a lucrative job, but we'd love to focus on it more and pay the bills. My dog has to eat, right?!?
