RETAILERS

We love retailers and would love to see Sauros on hobby store shelves around the world. If you run a store, please select the "Retailer" tier to pledge a $100 deposit toward a Sauros case. When the Hive Pledge Manager opens about a month or so after the conclusion of the campaign, you'll be able to verify your brick and mortar store, pay your balance, and provide your shipping address.

LOCALIZATION

We are always looking for ways to bring our games to other markets and languages. If you are an international publisher and have interest in localizing Sauros, please send an email to bryan@tangerine.games. Sauros is fairly language independent with just the rulebook, score cards, and box needing translation. We are already in discussions with a few possible European partners. Would love to team up with even more!

VAT: 

In order to maintain compliance with EU & UK law, VAT fees will be charged after the project, within the Hive Pledge Manager. The amount collected will be based on the total value of the pledge and shipping cost according to the VAT rates of each country.

US Tariffs: 

Currently, tariffs on goods imported into the US from China are 30%. While there is a 90-day pause on the original tariff of 145%, there is no guarantee what the tariff rate will be by the time fulfillment begins. Regardless, Tangerine Games reserves the right to pass the tariff onto the backer in the Pledge Manager if necessary. (30% tariff = an additional ~$2.)

Shipping: 

Fees for each reward listed in the table above are estimates based on current rates and shipping a single game. Additional items may add to this cost. Shipping will be collected within the Pledge Manager after the conclusion of the campaign. Backers will provide their shipping address at this time as well.

Production and PM Deadline

Hello Everyone!

Just a quick update on two items:

1. Mass production is underway and we are told it will be completed first week of November. Provided we can book freight containers at a reasonable price, games could arrive at the beginning of the New Year! 

2. Approximately 70% of backers have completed the Pledge Manager. This is great! However, there are still roughly 420 backers who have not paid shipping/taxes or provided their address. 

Due to manufacturing starting earlier, we will be bumping up the deadline for the PM in the off chance more copies are pledged than we ordered from the factory. We want to be able to adjust the number before it's too late. We would like to close the PM by the end of September to lock in numbers and prepare for fulfillment.

Retailers: There are 16 of you who have not completed the PM. Since a case comes with 7 games, we need to know your order ASAP to account for the higher quantity. We will be ordering only a handful of extra games for each region. (We went a little overkill on PEAKS). We will also send most of the extras to the US, our main market. What this means is, if you are outside the US and follow up after games have shipped, you may be receiving copies from outside your region, incurring extra shipping costs. I think we would both like to avoid this if at all possible.

Backers: Quite a few of you probably haven't received an invite to the PM because your emails are incompatible with Hive. If you have an AppleID, I have sent a message via your KS inbox. If you haven't received a KS message or an invite, its because there a a few other email extensions that are invalid. Please send me a message with a better email so I can resend the invite.

If I could be candid for a moment, fulfillment is probably the most laborious and exhausting part of the crowdfunding process - rerouting packages because addresses were inputed wrong in the PM, return fees, lost packages, replacements, etc. The best way you can help us, is to complete the PM on time and thoroughly. Once you do this, (in the words of K-Pop Demon Hunters' Rumi) you're Golden! Sorry, I couldn't resist:)
