RETAILERS

We love retailers and would love to see Sauros on hobby store shelves around the world. If you run a store, please select the "Retailer" tier to pledge a $100 deposit toward a Sauros case. When the Hive Pledge Manager opens about a month or so after the conclusion of the campaign, you'll be able to verify your brick and mortar store, pay your balance, and provide your shipping address.

LOCALIZATION

We are always looking for ways to bring our games to other markets and languages. If you are an international publisher and have interest in localizing Sauros, please send an email to bryan@tangerine.games. Sauros is fairly language independent with just the rulebook, score cards, and box needing translation. We are already in discussions with a few possible European partners. Would love to team up with even more!

VAT: 

In order to maintain compliance with EU & UK law, VAT fees will be charged after the project, within the Hive Pledge Manager. The amount collected will be based on the total value of the pledge and shipping cost according to the VAT rates of each country.

US Tariffs: 

Currently, tariffs on goods imported into the US from China are 30%. While there is a 90-day pause on the original tariff of 145%, there is no guarantee what the tariff rate will be by the time fulfillment begins. Regardless, Tangerine Games reserves the right to pass the tariff onto the backer in the Pledge Manager if necessary. (30% tariff = an additional ~$2.)

Shipping: 

Fees for each reward listed in the table above are estimates based on current rates and shipping a single game. Additional items may add to this cost. Shipping will be collected within the Pledge Manager after the conclusion of the campaign. Backers will provide their shipping address at this time as well.

Mass Production & Pledge Manager Rollout

Hello Friends,

It has been a month that's for sure. I (Bryan) am finally settling down but I often take WAY to long to unpack and get my belongings in order. Either way, you don't care.

First Things First... Production

So, a little bit of frustration here. The factory was unable to adjust the molds as they assumed they would be. If we were to create new molds, they would not cover the entire cost AND mass production would be delayed by two months, putting us into January for completion. 

Considering freight and shipping costs being higher around the holidays and into the New Year, this isn't feasible. It's actually why our goal was to be prepared well in advance - to avoid the end of the year.

So, here's what we are going to do. We are going to move forward with the tiles as they are. We've adjusted the playmats and other components. I want to reassure everyone, the production is beautiful and very premium. While we really liked the chunkier tiles, the ones we are using are just as awesome. We've gone from 38x27x14mm to 34x26x12mm (a difference of 4x1x2mm - very negligible).

We wanted to stay on schedule and deliver ASAP while also maintaining the quality, which we will still do... just with slightly smaller tiles. We've been told production will be complete the first week in November!

Pledge Manager Rollout

The Hive Pledge Manager (PM) is all set up and ready to open! Over the next few days, the system will send out emails in batches inviting you to the PM. For those of you who are new, the PM is the system where backers confirm their KS pledge, provide their shipping information and pay any VAT/Tariff taxes.

Those who pledged $1, will be able to upgrade their pledge at this time as well. The plan is to keep the PM open for 2 months so please take care of business. If you don't receive an invite by middle of next week, check your spam/junk folder. Also, there are still about 8 backers who used an AppleID email, which is not compatible with Hive. I've sent these backers a KS message, so please check so we can update your email and send you an invite.
