Rollacrit is back with another Kickstarter to resurrect the original Con Bag of Holding for the modern convention goer. After countless years of testing, gathering feedback, and waiting for fashion technology to catch up with our vision, we’re ready to introduce you to the new Con Bag of Holding. It’s bigger, tougher, expandable, and ready for long days on the convention floor. The classic patch-friendly front returns, along with new front elastic straps that make it easy to carry a hoodie, jacket, or other convention essentials.

The front display area can be customized with optional accessories, including an ita display panel that helps protect your favorite pins, merit badges, patches, and keychains while you're navigating crowded convention halls. 

That’s right! We’ve found a way to protect your pins AND show them off. (See what we mean by fashion technology?)

Measuring at around 13.5” inches tall and 11.5” inches wide, this bag has a deep 4” inch base that gives it a solid feel. This bag is made for navigating cons with ease. Durable, compact, and perfect for carrying all your con treasures.

With 18 dedicated storage areas, there's a place for everything. Carry more, show more. Expand from 20L to 22L, stash extra layers under the front bungee, and display your Merit Badges on the classic hook-and-loop panel.

Features include dual mesh side pockets for drinks, playmats, or poster tubes, a charging pass-through pocket with cable grommet, customizable elastic MOLLE organization, luggage handle pass-through for travel, and of course... a secret pocket waiting to be discovered.

We’ve reinforced the entire build of this bag to make it tougher, sturdier, and ready for heavier hauls.

With added structural support around the top handle, it stays solid even when you’re carrying a full day’s worth of loot. The mesh drink pocket has been expanded and strengthened to fit larger bottles more securely, giving you better hydration options on the go. Throughout the design, we’ve upgraded stress points and material layering for improved durability, and the outer shell now uses water‑resistant materials to help protect your gear from rain, spills, and whatever elemental surprises your adventure throws at you.

Each Con Bag of Holding is handmade, crafted with care and precision. 

With the kind of detailing these bags require, we couldn’t leave it up to machinery. That also makes this bag feel more like a true piece of one-of-a-kind adventuring gear.

This bag is sized to travel smoothly.

This bag has a slim footprint and sits securely on top of most rolling carry‑ons and is easy to maneuver through busy terminals. 

For TSA and airline sizing, what matters most is the under‑seat footprint, not the height, so when you lay the bag on its side, the compact base fits within the typical personal‑item guidelines used by most major airlines. 

Show off your collection your way. With the optional Ita Conversion Kit, swap the front panel for a clear display window and showcase your favorite pins and patches.

The optional, reversible insert features a pin and patch display on one side and a dedicated keychain organizer on the other, giving you the perfect way to carry, protect, and display what you love.

Our straps come in bold, eye‑catching prints and are crafted from durable nylon seatbelt material, giving them serious strength. Early supporters who signed up before launch and backed the project with the same email already unlocked the Chrome D20 Merit Badge as a pre‑campaign thank‑you. During the campaign, you can still earn the Gold D20 Merit Badge by helping us hit major funding milestones, unlock the Side Quest Addict Merit Badge when the community reaches all social follower goals, and claim the Early Bird Backer Merit Badge by being one of the first 1,000 heroes to pledge.

The goals reached in this Kickstarter unlock more customization options for the bag, including swappable straps and corresponding pins! (Also, the straps are compatible with Bag of Holding straps.

Con Bag of Holding backers will be able to manage their pledges via our Pledge Manager. You’ll get a survey after the campaign ends asking for your shipping information. If you want any add-ons or additional copies of the bag, you can add them then.

Please note that shipping is not charged until after the Kickstarter campaign concludes, and it is not built into the pledge price. All shipping & handling costs will be paid by backers through our Pledge Manager.

Rollacrit will carry the item on our store, but we only ship to the United States. Backing this Kickstarter is the best way to get your bag all over the world.

VAT will be charged in the pledge manager for all orders destined to the UK and EU, based on the total cost of your order. Retail backers in the UK and EU will also be charged VAT. The percentage of VAT will be based on the destination of the shipment.
