Campaign

On the fringes of the Xōchitlcoatl Jungle, the adventurers are ambushed by soldiers of the Quetzalli Tēōyōtlcoatl Empire and dragged in chains to be sacrificed atop the empire’s jade ziggurats. Yet their fate changes when nomadic Axolotian tribes launch a daring raid, freeing them and revealing the empire’s iron-fisted tyranny. Guided by Xiqen the Wise One, the heroes learn of Emperor Itzal’s dark quest to awaken a primordial hunger that could consume the jungle and beyond.

Beneath the Serpent’s Scales is a 40+ page campaign for levels 1–5, blending wilderness survival, intrigue, and apocalyptic stakes. Designed for four to six characters, it can stand alone as a self-contained mini-campaign or serve as the opening act in a greater saga of jungle empires, spirits, and primeval power.

The shipping rates shown below are estimated costs for pre-assembled pledge tiers.
Please note that adding optional items or add-ons may change your final shipping cost, as well as any fluctuations in the global shipping market.

Shipping and taxes will be collected separately through our Pledge Manager, based on actual rates at the time of fulfillment. This ensures you get the most accurate and fair pricing possible when your physical rewards are ready to ship.

VAT

To comply with EU and UK tax regulations, VAT will be charged after the campaign through the Pledge Manager.
The amount will be calculated based on your total pledge value plus shipping costs, according to the VAT rate applicable in your country (17%-25%).

US Tariffs

Currently, import tariffs on goods shipped from China to the United States are set at 30%, though these rates may change before physical fulfillment in 2026.
While we are actively working to minimize the impact of these tariffs and aim to absorb the additional costs whenever possible, Mojibake reserves the right to apply these charges to US backers in the Pledge Manager if necessary.

Samuele Granzotto is an Italian artist with a passion for illustration and digital painting. He is also a professional game artist, and stylized hand-painting one of his preferred graphic techniques.

A fantasy illustrator with a vivid coloring style. His work focuses on a semi-realistic art style with strong use of Light and color. Many pieces center on single characters or portraits, often in dynamic or thoughtful poses. The composition is designed to guide the viewer’s eye toward the character.

Please read carefully before joining the campaign!

Challenges

While we make every effort to ensure a high-quality product and stay on schedule, there is always a possibility of delays. Our team has extensive experience with crowdfunding and Kickstarter campaigns, and we’ve carefully planned out every stage of the production process. We’ve considered our capabilities, potential limitations, and all other relevant factors to deliver your pledges within the estimated timeframe. That said, given the complexity of this campaign and the wide variety products involved, unexpected delays may still occur. Should that happen, we will do everything we can to minimize the impact, find effective solutions, and keep you fully informed with honest and transparent updates.

BOOKS

The final book products may have minor differences compared to what is shown in the campaign, such as variations in page count, certain gaming features, colors, or graphic design elements. Any such adjustments will always be communicated transparently and will only be made if they improve the books, enhance the overall gaming experience, or meaningfully impact production and delivery timelines. Our top priority is to provide you with the highest quality books, both in terms of production and content. 

MINIATURES

All miniatures will be delivered unpainted. This campaign includes two categories of miniature products:

-Physical Miniatures

-Digital STL Files: for backers who wish to 3D print their own miniatures at home or through a local 3D printing service.

It is the backers’ responsibility to carefully distinguish between these two categories in the pledge levels and select the option that best suits their needs. 

Please note that the final miniatures may differ slightly from the rendered images shown in the campaign. We will do our best to keep these differences minimal, and in cases where adjustments are necessary, we will communicate them transparently, always prioritizing product quality and the overall success of the project.

All pre-production work, including support and optimization for the miniatures, has already been completed. We are now moving into mold creation, bringing us one step closer to delivering the best possible miniatures to you both in their physical form and as digital STL files.

DICE

All dice sets offered in this campaign are standard 7-piece sets, each containing a D4, D6, D8, D10, D10% (percentile), D12, and D20. We will not be offering individual dice outside of sets. 

The dice images shown in the campaign are renders (photorealistic previews). While we will make every effort to match these as closely as possible, some variations in the final production dice may occur. We will keep you updated and share photos of physical samples as soon as they are available.

ADDITIONAL PRODUCT

All additional products featured in this campaign (such as handouts, card decks, and GM screens) may have slight differences compared to the visuals shown. We will do our best to keep these deviations minimal and only make adjustments when it is beneficial, whether to improve the product itself or to streamline production. Any such decisions will always be made with one goal in mind: ensuring the highest possible quality in both content and production value.

DELIVERY DATE

We share your desire to receive your pledge on time, and we have taken great care in planning to make that possible. However, as with any project of this scale, unexpected delays can still occur despite the best preparations. Based on our experience and production capacity, we are confident in meeting our delivery estimates.

We will keep you fully informed throughout the process with regular updates both in the project’s main comment section and through Kickstarter Updates.

DELIVERY ADDRESS

After the campaign ends, you will be asked to complete the Pledge Manager, where you will confirm your selected items and provide your shipping information. Please keep in mind that your pledge may ship earlier or later than the estimated delivery date.

To ensure successful delivery, provide a mailing address that will remain valid during the shipping period. For example, if you expect to move, consider using the address of a trusted friend or relative instead.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries caused by incorrect or outdated addresses. In such cases, additional shipping costs may be required to resend your pledge.

UNDELIVERED ITEMS

The Mojibake Team cannot be held responsible for undelivered pledges resulting from backer-related issues (such as providing an invalid address, failing to claim a package before it was returned, or loss due to theft). That said, in such cases we will do our best to help you receive your pledge again, with only minimal additional costs to you.

REFUNDS

During the live Kickstarter campaign, you may cancel your pledge at any time without any charges. If the campaign is successfully funded, your credit card will be charged once the campaign ends. Shipping fees and any applicable taxes will be collected later through the Pledge Manager.

After the campaign concludes, the following refund policy applies:

-For the first two weeks after the campaign ends, all backers are eligible for a 65% refund of their pledge.

-After this two-week period, refunds will no longer be available.

Refunds will be issued via PayPal, so you will need to provide a valid PayPal account.

DAMAGED PRODUCTS 

While we take every precaution to ensure that your pledge is packaged and shipped safely, there is always a small chance that items may arrive damaged during transit.
 

Should this happen, the Mojibake Team will carefully review each case on an individual basis. 

If you receive a damaged product, please reach out to us at info@mojibakecollectibles.com as soon as possible.

Include several clear photos of the damaged item, along with any relevant details about the condition of the package when it arrived. This information will help us assess the situation quickly and accurately. Our goal is to make sure you receive the quality products you pledged for, so once we review your case, we will work with you to find the best possible solution.

By joining this Kickstarter campaign and purchasing this item, you legally accept this Agreement and agree to be bound by its provisions. If you do not accept or agree with these terms, please do not join the project and do not download any kind of content we provide. Thank you for understanding! :)

• You may only use the content provided by us strictly for personal use. You can't claim that our works are your own.
• You are not allowed to distribute or sell our images, 3D models, molds, or resin copies.
• You can't edit our models or use portions of them to create new models or content. You may not otherwise modify, duplicate, create derivative works of, disassemble or reverse engineer any part. The miniatures may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or republished.
• Our content is protected by copyright and intellectual property. It can't be used in any form in other projects, Kickstarter or Patreon campaigns, any other crowdfunding platform, website or social media.
• You can't make casts/molds of our models, any production is prohibited.
• You can take photos and make live streams or  video with our models (such as painting or gaming sessions) as long as you credit us. In this case, promoting our pages would be appreciated! Never use our content (3D models, pictures, prints, logo or whatever) without crediting us.
• All copyrights belong to Mojibake Collectibles, NO rights are assigned or transferred to the end-user. Our designs are protected by intellectual property laws.
• Our products aren't toys; we have no liability whatsoever for any damage caused to people, animals, or whatever.
• We always try to help our clients and backers as much as we can, however, we have no obligation to provide support or guidance regarding the use of the items and we're not responsible for printing errors.
