Dew Drops & Koi Ponds is an exciting expansion and reprint of Garden Geckos!

This mini expansion introduces wild terrain and bug components in the form of new garden elements! A third "Bug Vendor" market is also introduced, giving you more ways to stock up on end-game scoring points!

In Garden Geckos, players delve into a lush garden world where colourful geckos hustle to capture bugs and achieve objectives. Each player commands a team of geckos, navigating a dynamically evolving garden made of hex tiles, forming patterns and bug chains to score victory points. 

The game blends tactical tile placement with the excitement of collecting bug meeples, strategically achieving secret and communal objectives along the way. As the garden grows and geckos scamper, players must balance resource management and strategic foresight to emerge as the master of this charming, bug-filled realm.

We don't believe in creating fake stretch goals to give the illusion that we can make the game better if we can just get over a certain funding level. We want to give you the maximum quality for all the game components from day one. Everything that should give that added touch is already added (i.e. linen finish, thick tiles, spot uv, full color wooden meeples, organization trays, glass components, etc.).  

Support a Small Publisher: By supporting this campaign, you are keeping the small indie publishers going and helping bring new ideas to the table!

Backers First, Distribution Second: As a general philosophy, we have moved away from offering our games to retailers and instead focus our efforts on direct-to-consumer delivery: at conventions, through our own web store, or through Kickstarter. Our mandate is that you will always receive your game before you see it on a shelf, and at the best price we can offer.

The Dew Drops & Koi Ponds Expansion will not be available at retail and is being printed in very limited quantities. Once they are gone, they are gone!

📘 How to play

1) Place a hex tile connecting one side to an existing pattern, then place a gecko on that connected pattern.

2) When a tile is fully surrounded, the player with the most geckos touching it gets the bug (ties are awarded by the player who places the last tile). Bugs are worth 1 point.

3) Achieve pattern objectives from the market by occupying the same patterns as indicated on the objective card. Score 1 point per bug on the bottom of the card.

4) Achieve bug objectives by creating links between bugs with your geckos. Score 1 point per bug on the bottom of the card.

5) Secret objectives score bonus points at the end of the game.

👤 Solo Mode

Solo mode in "Garden Geckos" invites you to match wits against a set of objectives, challenging you to meet personal goals and overarching benchmarks before the tiles run out. In this win-or-lose environment, each tile you draft and gecko you place is a step toward one of three distinguished finishes. Will you navigate this vibrant, bug-filled paradise skillfully enough to be the master of this garden?
