Shipping Update - Europe’s Final Stretch

Hello everyone!

It’s been really exciting to see more and more of you receiving your games and sharing your thoughts with us. We’ve been reading all the kind words and feedback coming in, and it means a lot to everyone who has worked on the game. Seeing it finally make its way into your hands has been a pretty special moment for us!

At the same time, we know that many of you are still waiting for your copies. We’re making efforts to keep you as informed as possible while the remaining deliveries make their way through the different stages of fulfillment.

So, let’s take a look at where things currently stand!

TLDR:

• US, Canada, Japan, and most of Asia: Shipping is complete, with only exceptional cases still pending or ongoing.
• Australia and New Zealand: Shipping has recently been completed as well.
• Europe: All remaining orders were picked up by the couriers this last week.
• UK: Still delayed due to customs (see Update #13), with the latest estimate still around late September/early October.
• Other regions: Many orders have already been dispatched or are already moving toward last-mile delivery. Timelines vary by country, but shipping should continue throughout this month and the next.

💬 Friendly note for anyone who also backed the Jisogi Reprint campaign: the general status of the two campaigns is essentially the same, with the exception of the Eldertide Europe delivery, which is just a few days behind Jisogi. Since there is no other project-specific news in this update, feel free to gloss over the rest if you already read it on the other campaign. 😉

Here’s more information, broken down by region:

US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and most of Asia

Shipping has been completed, with only exceptional cases still pending, such as returned packages, late address changes, or issues being resolved by customer support (such as missing packages).

There is just one notable exception in Asia:

• Thailand: Orders were forwarded from the VFI hub to Our Games Trading Co. Ltd. last week for last-mile delivery. The current estimate is for the packages to arrive around October 15 and dispatch the following week, after everything has been unloaded and processed.

Europe

The remaining European orders were picked up by the couriers at the end of last week!

This means the orders have now left the hub, but it does not necessarily mean they are already on their way to your door. It may still take a few days for the packages to enter the courier system and for tracking information to become available.

Please keep an eye on your inbox (including your spam folder!) for shipping notifications. If, after a few business days, you haven’t received any tracking information, please contact us through our Hive page.

United Kingdom

In our last update (Update #13), we informed you about the unexpected issue with customs. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been a whole lot of good news to share here. We’re still working incessantly with Spiral Galaxy to sort out all the issues and paperwork and get shipping moving as quickly as possible.

This also means that there’s no change to the latest estimate of late September/early October for delivery. As soon as everything is sorted out and we can confidently share an update on those dates, or at the very least confirm that they still hold, we’ll share it with all of you.

Other Regions

Fulfillment varies by country and is being handled by several different logistics partners. Please continue to keep an eye on your inbox for tracking information as your shipment is processed.

A couple of notable updates:

• South Africa: Packages were expected to be shipped to the forwarder handling last-mile delivery early this month. We’re still waiting for confirmation at this stage, but this process usually takes around a month to complete, placing the current estimated delivery timeframe around early next month.
• Middle East: The hub is still organizing shipments, and they are currently expected to be sent to the last-mile forwarders between the end of this month and early October.

🇯🇵 September 22–23 — URABAKO, Tokyo

We are currently hosting URABAKO, a special board game exhibition taking place as part of a larger video game and culture event in Tokyo.

The idea behind URABAKO is to introduce Japanese board games to an audience that might not normally encounter our hobby, and, why not, convert them to our side!

If you’re in Japan, the doors have just opened and there’s still time to come visit us! And if you’d like to help us spread the word, feel free to share this with anyone you think might enjoy the exhibition, or even someone you desperately want to bring into the board game world (we all have those friends, right?)!
