About the game

Catapult Feud is language independent. The game's components have no text. 

All Kickstarter Backers will receive a special limited edition combined rulebook. This rulebook will be in English, French, Spanish and German. It will cover the rules of the base game and all expansions.

This printed multi-language book will be available only during the Kickstarter campaign.

We will work with the community to have the rules translated in more languages and make them available in PDF format for you to download through our website (https://www.vesuviusmedia.com) or the Hive Portal (https://www.hiveinteractive.net)

The Feud

Catapult Feud: Winter Wonderland is an expansion that requires the Catapult Feud or Jurassic Feud base games to play. Combine it with other expansions for an epic, snow covered showdown! Catapult Feud (aka Catapult Kingdoms) funded on Kickstarter in 2020. Catapult Feud Hydra expansion funded on Kickstarter in 2022. Jurassic Feud funded on Kickstarter in 2024.

In the beginning

Their were just two households, the Chauforts and the Cunningfields, both alike in dignity, in their fair kingdoms... if only there wasn't that ancient grudge! 

Ready, aim... LAUNCH the rubber BOULDERS! 

BUT THEN a volcano erupts between the two kingdoms!

From the cracks of the earth appears a HYDRA!

AND Dinosaurs followed!

Just as the dust settled... snow began to fall.

Rulebook

This rulebook is a work in progress. The final version will be in 4 languages (English, French, Spanish and German). 

The special limited edition printed rulebook will be given for FREE to all Kickstarter backers who pledge $30 or more. Late pledge backers will have the opportunity to pay $5 for the printed version after the end of the campaign. The PDF will be available for download without an extra cost.

Multiple Game Modes

One game, so many ways to play!

- Quick Play

In this mode, simply forget the rules! Do not use the Action Cards. Build your castle any way you see fit within your player board, and then place your troops on top of the bricks. Take turns shooting boulders at each other's castle until one player has only one troop standing. The winner is the player with the last troop standing!

- Advanced Play

This version is more strategic, with each player’s turn divided into four phases: Tactics, Aim, Fire, and Cleanup. Follow the rules as described in the rulebook. In this mode you will use the Action Cards.

- Rapid Fire

Set up your game as if you were going to play Quick Play Mode. Then, instead of taking turns launching boulders at each other's castle, start shooting simultaneously as fast as you can! You will need to chase boulders, reload, and shoot again! If all your troops are knocked down, then you are out! The winner is the player with the last troop standing!

- 3 or 4 Player

If you have a second base game or if you have both Catapult Feud and Jurassic Feud, you can play with more than two players. In the images below, you can see the setup for a 3-Player and a 4-Player game.

After you attack a player's castle, they should put their Distance Marker in front of their castle. That means that nobody can attack them. If, at the beginning of your turn, all opponents have a Distance Marker in front of their castle, they all remove it, so that they can be attacked again.

Shipping

We will charge shipping after the Kickstarter concludes based on the actual costs incurred to ship. Payment will be collected via the Hive Pledge Manager (https://www.hiveinteractive.net) after the campaign. Shipping costs vary widely based on where you will receive your reward. Unfortunately, a one size fits all price isn't manageable.

We will pay to ship your rewards to our international distribution centers. Based on your delivery address, we will ship to you from one of the hubs below (subject to change):

• USA: Bridge Fulfillment
• Poland and Rest of EU: Green Logistics

The above fulfillment hub is subject to change before final delivery.

A Note on U.S. Tariffs

Due to the ever-shifting U.S. tariffs on goods manufactured in China, it is possible that import costs will be higher than usual at the time of fulfillment. 

Currently the US Tariffs for board games imported from China is set at 10%. If this amount stays as is, we will be absorbing that cost.

We are closely monitoring the situation, if the situation changes radically, then we may need to adjust our plans accordingly.

You can count on us to be transparent throughout the process and to keep you informed of any changes that may affect your pledge. Our goal is to deliver outstanding value while remaining honest and responsible with our pricing.

Taxes

Applicable Sales tax will be applied in our pledge manager for EU/UK/US/CA Backers.

The following is a list of rough estimates for shipping of the various pledge levels. Please keep in mind that these are just estimates, and costs may rise based on weight increases and any optional add-ons you choose.

Who We Are

GDPR and Data/Privacy Protection law

By pledging on this campaign, you give us the right to transfer your personal data to selected partners, for the sole purpose of sending you your games. We never sell your data to anyone, and we won't transfer it to partners who aren't involved directly in fulfilling your pledge. In detail, your personal information will be handled by:

• us, Vesuvius Media, to transfer it to the partners who will need it
• a Pledge Manager solution (we use Hive - www.hiveinteractive.net) to collect your shipping address and pledge preferences
• the fulfillment company in charge of shipping the game to you (eg. Quartermaster Logistics, GamesQuest, Zatu, VFI, Aetherworks, Green Logistics, HappyShops, etc.)
• the transporter chosen by the fulfillment company to deliver you the game (eg. FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.)

While we have chosen these partners for their high level of professionalism, we can't guarantee that they comply with GDPR.

Please note that while GDPR only applies to the European Union, for simplicity and because GDPR globally gives a much better protection for customers, we will apply the principles of this law no matter where you live in the world.
