Blue-Ribbon Bake Battle

Blue-Ribbon Bake Battle is a new, original playing card game. A deck consists of 134 playing cards:

- 20 unique recipes

- 60 ingredients, there are 10 different ingredients, 6 of each

- 36 action cards, there are 6 different actions, 6 of each

- 4 wild cards, wild cards can be used in the place of any ingredient

- 14 blue ribbons, given to players when they successfully complete a recipe

Players start with a recipe card. The object of the game is to be the first contestant to complete their recipe. Players do that by gathering the needed ingredients. Each recipe requires 5 ingredients. While some recipes require similar ingredients no two recipes require all the same ingredients. Players can gather ingredients by drawing from the draw pile, drawing from the discard pile, or acquiring them by using action cards. Players can also use action cards to hinder the other players' progress by forcing players to lose turns or forcing them to swap recipes. It is a food fight like no other.

Presently we have all the digital collateral for the game, all the cards and the box have been designed. We haven't been able to print the actual, playable game. That is why we are coming to Kickstarter. We are looking for backers to help cover printing and distribution costs.
