Social Deduction games are rarely designed for 2 or 3 players. Especially when there is a hidden identity component. Unlikely Minds changes that by presenting you with a one vs one Mind Reading Showdown. Whether you have 2 players or 10, Unlikely Minds adapts to any occasion! Unlikely Minds offers two game modes! The Classic Version and the Psychic Master Version.

The Classic Version of Unlikely Minds is perfect for lighthearted gatherings with friends and family. It is easy to learn, fast-paced, and is a perfect game to get the game night going! 

The Psychic Master version offers a much greater challenge. Every round, a random Psychic is passed to each player, with unique abilities. The Psychic powers can push you ahead, or backfire, and make you lag behind. The Psychic Master version expands each round and makes the game infinitely re-playable!

We (Bacon Board Games) are a small family-owned LLC that strives to bring you the very best board game experience. We love playing board games and for a very long time we have been dreaming of creating one ourselves. We had many ideas and now are finally able to bring to you our very best - Unlikely Minds.

Meet Bacon Board Games Creators:

Our names are Slava and Lexie. Slava is a CPA, who loves to fish, has a terrible sense of humor, is pretty good at ping-pong, and likes Ramen. Lexie is a defense attorney (the artsy one), who likes crochet, embroidery, and completing complicated puzzles. Jazz (the dog in the picture) is our mascot, from whom we drew inspiration for about everything in our lives. (Zima - the other dog didn't make the cut (don't worry about it)). We love board games. It is our go-to for a good time. For years we have been hosting weekly game nights, playing small games we backed on Kickstarter, and adding new spins on the classics on a regular basis. It is an on-going joke that I make up my own rules. True. So we took it a step further and made our own game. Now, no one can say we are making up rules, because we literally made the game.

Jokes aside - Unlikely Minds has been in development for years. I came up with the concept back in 2019 while we were still in College. I made the first prototype and our friends loved it. Fast forward to 2022, when I brought it to a family game night and didn't tell anyone that we made it. Everyone loved it and were in complete shock when we told them it was ours. That gave us the inspiration to really put everything we have into it and publish it. It was not an easy journey - but a worthwhile one! We tested, we illustrated, we scrapped it and tried again, and again, and again. So here we are, almost five years later with a complete game in front of us that we know is fun. What we want now is to share it with you! It means so much to us that you backed it and we cannot wait for you to play it!

Risks and challenges

We understand the multiple risks involved in beginning a kick-starter campaign. Although we have carefully budgeted and planned for our campaign to be flawless, there are many obstacles that we may have to overcome.

Unlikely Minds has gone through extensive play testing and development before the launch on Kickstarter. We took the game to multiple board game meet-ups, sent it to reviewers, and performed blind testing, to ensure the game performs perfectly! We have spent hundreds of hours working out the kinks of the game to make sure we present you with a complete project!

Originally, we have set our delivery date to September 2025, however, we have update our delivery date to the end of 2025.  It is possible for fulfillment to take longer than anticipated. This is a common risk for board game developers on Kickstarter, and we will try our very best to fulfill all orders on time. However, there are circumstances that may be out of our control, such as shipping delays, manufacturing delays, etc.
